Today, during class, students had to finish Guide #1 about all the topics seen until now. This class aimed to evaluate if students can differentiate grammatically tense structures, comprehend short reading, remember definitions, create correct sentences, and use the dictionary appropriately.

Today during the first part of the class, we discussed the previous matching activity and clarified the correct definitions for each sport. After that, we took the rest of the time to discuss and plan the English Day participation; however, since there was no agreement, I assigned a Characters Parade presentation and asked if they wanted to do a stand in their classroom but they declined.

Synonyms and Antonyms
Un sinónimo es una palabra o, en algunos casos, una frase que tiene el mismo significado que otra palabra en el mismo idioma. Si el significado no es exactamente el mismo, las palabras tienen significados muy similares en el contexto. Cuando dos palabras son sinónimas entre sí , las llamamos palabras sinónimas.
Los antónimos son palabras que tienen significados opuestos a otra palabra, en el mismo idioma. Se origina de la palabra griega “anti” que significa opuesto y “o nimo” que significa “nombre”. Por ejemplo, el antónimo de hot (caliente) es cold (frí o) y el antónimo de up (arriba) es down (abajo). Son muy u tiles en el idioma ingle s. A veces es fácil entender el significado y el contexto de una palabra difícil, sabiendo lo que significa el opuesto de la palabra.
